Character Caught

To ensure our students can embody the virtues we value, we have created Visible Behaviours—visual artefacts that guide students in how to demonstrate our core values in day-to-day school life. These have been uniquely designed for the TBS student and act as clear, practical signposts for positive behaviour and personal conduct.

Role modelling is a vital element of character caught. The relationships that staff form with each other and with students provide a powerful, often subconscious, form of learning. Students naturally absorb and mirror the behaviours, values, and attitudes they observe in the people around them.

In addition, our physical and cultural environment supports the development of character. Displays, expectations, routines, and shared spaces all contribute to an atmosphere where positive character is not only expected but encouraged and celebrated.
