Vital Vocabulary

 •Students are given a vital Vocabulary booklet which will last for two years (years 7 and 8) and (years 9-10).

•During lessons in all subjects the teachers will select words from responsive reading texts that will help improve students’ vocabulary.

•Students will complete the pages in the vital vocabulary booklets. •This will give them a written record of their developing vocabulary. 

•They are expected to take these booklets to all lessons and to tutor time in the mornings.
