Word of the Week

The rationale

•Every week the school will introduce a  new word to encourage vocabulary development.  These words will be relevant across the curriculum, both subject specific and more generalised.  These words are displayed on boards around the school and in every classroom, as well as on our website.

•Students will be introduced to these words by their tutors on Monday mornings during our literacy slot and will write them down in their Vital Vocabulary booklets.
