High Attaining Pupils (HAP)
What is a High Attaining Pupil (HAP)?
HAP stands for High Attaining Pupils, a designation based on key stage 2 data. As a school, we use students' KS2 English (reading) and Maths test scores from their primary school phase to identify students with high learning potential. This enables us to ensure that our most able students are given lessons and opportunities which stretch and challenge them.
What is on offer for HAP Pupils?

All staff will be aware of HAP pupils and will have adaptations to ensure that they are able to make the best possible progress.
