School Closure Procedures

Should the school need to close due to severe weather, the decision will be made as early possible in the morning; the aim is to have the closure notified by 7:00am. As you can appreciate this may not always be possible as the weather situation can change quickly.

Once the decision has been made then Buckinghamshire Council will be informed.  They will publish any closures on https://closures.buckscc.gov.uk . We will also update our website and put a message across our social media platforms.  At the same time we will text parents whose contact details are on the school's information system.

If we have to make a decision during the school day we will inform parents in the same way.  As you can appreciate this is sometimes driven by the transport providers in order to get students home safely.
