Oh No It Isn't!
Christmas Production Sets the Festive Mood
Three builders from Essex travel to Chelsea for a pre-party renovation and before you know it there’s a magic carpet flying around Beaconsfield and a Dame in a tanning salon missing her son! The scene was set for The Beaconsfield School’s annual Christmas production and this year it was a home-made pantomime, written by our very own Miss Bemment. Fifty students from across the year groups took on various roles, customers at ‘Super Fry’ tanning salon, Chelsea girls (all accessorised with dogs in handbags), there was Mo Farrah, Joey Essex and Dizzie Rascal made an appearance as the genie. Aladdin and Princess fell in love as the panto unfolded, with the help of the Fairy Goth Mother and Aladdin’s interfering mother, Dame Tanya Lines, played superbly by Dominik Lennard.
150 year 6 students from our feeder schools saw a matinee performance and the evening audience was packed with 200 friends and family all ready to boo, hiss and cheer at the required time! Well done to everyone involved, it’s got the Christmas season off to a cracking start!
