Joanna Freeman won Young Chef Rotary Cooking Competition - local heat at Wycombe High School
Young chef Rotary Local heat ....Joanna Freeman, Year 10, yesterday evening cooked her way to victory at Wycombe High School with her delicious three course meal of homemade stuffed beetroot ravioli, Venison burgers with glazed carrots and orange pastry tartlets. Her food was delicious and looked amazing.
Joanna will now go onto the next round at Sandhurst in February .
She won £50 and was given a signed cook book from renowed Chef, Tom Kerridge.
Nicole Andrews, who also competed, was commended by the chef judge and the Rotarians for her wonderful cooking. Nicole is new to the world of cooking compeitions and as a Year 7 did incredibly well under pressure.
There were 14 students in all competing against one another.
